Tyler Vassar - ​Senior Partner & Board Member

Tyler Vassar is a Senior Advisor, Board Member, and Senior Partner at Ascent Ridge Partners. Building on a true commitment to provide industry-leading results for our clients, Tyler is committed to helping clients realize their organizational goals through the alignment of business strategies, specific organizational objectives, and the correct approaches to improve performance.

Prior to forming Ascent Ridge Partners, Tyler was the Executive Vice President and COO for Erdman Healthcare Solutions, a client-centric provider of operational consulting services & real-estate solutions to the U.S. healthcare industry.  Prior to his role at Erdman, Tyler served as Chief Procurement Officer and Vice President of the Global Supply Chain for Joy Global, a $4B industry leader in the engineering and production of world class mineral extraction machinery. 

Prior to his tenure with Joy Global, Tyler held progressively responsible leadership roles with General Electric Company, Danfoss Fluid Power, and International Technology Corporation.  Before starting his career in industry, he was an Officer in the U.S. Navy.  Tyler holds a BSME degree from the University of Tennessee as well as an MBA from Bowling Green State University. 

Tyler has a passion and a track record for improving business results and customer experience in every organization he touches.  He is equally adept at improving the experience of internal or external customers in organizations of all sizes and missions.  An expert in business process and organizational change management, Tyler works with clients to develop a customized business approach along with a strategic roadmap to measurably improve performance.   He believes that the approach and the tools must be customized to overcome the specific challenges a particular organization faces.  Tyler works with his clients to apply a combination of enterprise-wide LEAN transformation, sound leadership practices, six sigma rigor, operational excellence, quality process improvement, and true, customer focus.  The application of these customized approaches allows businesses and teams to improve results and change the future for the better.
