John Gallo - ​Senior Advisor & Board Member

John, a Senior Advisor and Board Member with Ascent Ridge Partners, brings his real world experience and success from multiple industries to companies working to transform or restructure their operations, business, organization or culture.  His straightforward and practical approach has proven to be a key element in driving positive change for many companies as diverse as Aerospace, Medical Devices, Food Packaging and Appliances.  

Prior to teaming-up with Ascent Ridge, John served as the President of Global Defense Programs for Rolls-Royce’s military jet engine business. He was responsible for the complete value stream of all global defense jet engine production programs, focusing on cost, quality, delivery and P&L in order to provide absolute customer satisfaction.  John was accountable for 13 engine programs with a P&L of $2.0B in 103 countries serving 160 armed services. Prior to this role, John served Rolls-Royce as Executive Vice President North America Business Operations.  He directed the efforts of North Americas operation including the internal and external Integrated Supply Chain and associated support groups. Before Rolls-Royce John served as Vice President of Operations, a Corporate Officer and Board Member of Piper Aircraft infusing modern-day engineering and operational disciplines throughout the company.  John’s experience also includes numerous management positions within General Electric (GE) Healthcare.

John earned an MBA in Management from Cardinal Stritch University, as well as a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Wisconsin- Platteville.  Additionally, John is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Six Sigma Champion, is a graduate of GE’s and Rolls-Royces Leadership Training programs and is a FAA certified Instrument Rated Private Pilot.
